What is the major trend you are seeing in your industry?

The biggest and most influential trend is, without doubt, the emergence of ‘Cloud Computing’, specifically ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS).

There is no question that vendors have begun to realize that, in order to maintain their competitive advantage and retain customers, their service offering needs to include SaaS, as it offers virtually infinite scalability and enormous cost benefits. Frankly, as service providers we realize that, if we don’t engage with our customers on Cloud Computing, our competitors will. Thus, in addition to providing IT products, services and solutions, we also play a vital role in educating our customers on technology trends like Cloud Computing, which in turn enables them to make informed decisions that shape their long-term IT strategy.
