The emphasis is on relaxation and quality ‘time-out’. The hosts endorse the slow movement of food preparation and make no excuses for 20 minute preparation time.  As they put it, “there is no express service here!”

What is one the menu?

A cliché it may be, but the establishment offers something for everyone (however, visitors should be aware that there is an age-restriction set in place – no children under the age of 13). This rule is to safeguard the tranquillity and peaceful atmosphere. Doors are open from Tuesdays to Saturdays 9h00 to 16h00. Dinner by arrangement and there are plans to start a harvest table on Sundays. Watch this space …!

For those who enjoy the ‘garden high-tea’ experience, Fresh is a specialist in this area and offers both individual and group rates. Particularly within the venue’s beautiful and tranquil garden settings, book club , kitchen tea, stork party or birthday parties are hugely popular and booking is essential!

The restaurant is unable to cater for Halaal and dishes do contain pork, gelatine and alcohol.

For the more romantic, there are conversation picnic baskets to be enjoyed at any of the garden tables or in front of the fire on cold days!

There is also a set-menu for three-course dinners on Fridays and the offer of four-course Romance Dinners on Saturdays.
